Hey all. I am asking about a christmas present. I was wondering which bag was the better. The track premier 4 ball roller or the ROTO GRIP 4 ball roller. Thanks.
-
Well i know that the Roto Grip bag has 3 wheels instead of just 2.

The Roto bags are made by the same people as the Storm bags. I've got an AMF bag, it's very similar to the Track bag. A friend of mine has the RG bag and it's not the same at all.
I like the look of the Roto bag, the red with grey pin-stripes, they're pretty nice looking. But I really like my AMF bag, I've had it for about two months. I had a 4-ball Storm Streamline before that, and a 3-ball Streamline before that, both held up very well.
I don't think you could go wrong with either one if the Track is made like my AMF.

Brunswick and the standard KR bags are probably the best. Brunswick is made by KR, and their bags differ very little from the standard design. Very durable...I've had mine for well over 5 years, and save for the obvious wear and tear on the wheels, everything else has been fine.
I like the look of the Roto bags, but I have heard of problems with the third wheel. The wheels are smaller, and I think the bigger two wheels give you a little better roll when you are in a bumpy parking lot, etc.

Has anybody used the Track one. Im keeping this in between ROTO and Track.

Yes. I had the Track bag. It was a looker, but the upholstery came un-stitched after a couple weeks.

Are u normall rough on your bags, because i couldn't see any bag coming apart in a few weeks.

I have a Columbia 3 ball roller bag and i have had it for about a year and have had no problems at all with it. It is made of very strong material and heavy duty zippers. my friend has a 3 ball track bag and it has came unsewed or whatever you want to call it and also the handle just came right out of the top.

I have had absolutely no problems with my Storm streamline 3ball roller bag.

Just grip it & rip it!

I had an AMF 4 ball roller when I first got serious, and it was a good bag while it lasted but after 1 1/2 years it started falling apart (handle broke, zipper broke on front compartment, part of wheel broke on one side).
I then decided to do more tournament bowling and got a KR 4 ball roller, and its a much sturdier piece than what the AMF bag was. It also has more storage space which is what I really like about it, and after 3 years its still all in one piece with nothing broken.
All in all, if I had to do it over again I'd say piss on those wide, annoying, bowling ball busses and get me 3 tote bags. I found out real quick when you are in centers that are not very wide in terms of walk ways or they are extremely crowded its a pain in the butt to weave your way around people. I also learned that all the people who do bowl in tournaments often mainly use tote bags because they are easier to move from one place to the next and alot cheaper too. For someone that has a bad back or something though, the 4 ball bags are an asset, but to me they weren't worth the trouble.
If you are really into RotoGrip, look at their tote bags (unless you really want a 3-4 ball roller). They have the most storage space of any tote bag I have found. And their stuff seems to be good quality.

Anyone else with advice on this?
-
The one feature that I absolutely LOVE about my Roto 4 ball bag is that the lower bag has two solid handles on each side. It makes it SO MUCH easier to lift into the car. My Brunswick bag did not have this feature.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I have the Track 4 ball roller, and let me tell you, this is my first 4 ball bag, and it's great! It's huge, and there's nothing of mine that it can't carry. It's very sturdy, and beautiful in design. I really think you would like it! Any other questions, LMK. Hope this helps
