I need to know too.  It leaves the surface different too when using it.  Like I feel the black comes off, I need a master one!

I just got a Shammy yesterday, those suckers are TACKY.  It grabs on the surface of the ball more than the Wipe It Dry does.  Obviously it will be a while before I need to wash mine though . .

I wash mine by hand with dish soap, rinse, stretch, and hang to dry.  I've done it 3-4 times now with no noticeable ill effects.  It has softened somewhat too.

Storm's website says that the Shammy is leather "on both sides." I have Master's Wipe-It-Dry Pad which feels like leather, so the Pad and Shammy are probably similar. If you google BowlwithMaster.com, you will find Master's website and a couple of youtube demonstrations on how to clean the Pad. One instructional says to wet the Pad with warm water and rub in a household degreaser with a soft nylon brush. The other youtube demonstration says that you should use a leather cleaner.

I tried the warm water/degreaser method which did a fair job of cleaning. The Pad does not have the same feel after I used warm water. I have a leather cleaner at home, so I may try that next. The Pad still works fine and takes a lot of dirt and oil off the ball.

Does a great job of getting more off than a micro fiber, you can feel the difference.

No question---the Master Pad cleans more than a micro fiber towel.

Brick, thanks for posting the link.

I did the same thing with my Master Pad and got a better result last night. You can vigorously rub with a soft nylon brush without damaging the material. There are several guys in our league who are using the Master Pad. It is a bit pricey, but the Pad really cleans the ball.
