Best 4 Ball Bag?
« on: July 02, 2007, 02:44:59 AM »
I'm in the market for a new one. Currently use an old Brunswick Zone 4 ball roller. I like the fact that it has 3 wheels and 5 accessory pockets. I have noticed the Roto Grip also has 3 wheels. What have others found to be the best bag,(likes, dislikes etc.)What's the difference between 600 and 900 Bag material? Which one is the thicker material? Any input appreciated.

                         Thanks,
                         Mike E

I've had two Storm Streamlines, one three-ball and one four-ball.  Both were very nice, sturdy, and had deep cups for the balls to sit in.  A friend of mine has an Elite bag and the cups are shallow enough that the balls move around inside it (mostly kept in place by foam and nylon dividers).

The RG bags are pretty much the same as the Storm bags, and the Streamlines are a good value.  A buddy of mine has the four-ball RG bag and it's nice too.

i have the KR Lane Rover 4 ball roller, its a nice bag, 5 year warranty on it, large wheels, lots of accessory pockets, plus if you ever need to you can buy the conversion kit that makes it a 6 ball roller

and the higher the number the better the material..so 900 is better than 600, stronger in other words

And likely heavier as well.  That can drive the total weight of the full bag up several pounds.  The two bags I had, the Streamlines, are 600 (grit?) and neither have any trouble with tearing.

I've had my Roto Grip 4 ball for 4 years and it's the best bag I've owned bar none. Up and down a 14 stair case to get in and out of my condo 2x's per week and no loose wheels, tears, zipper problems all the others before that fell apart, torn seams, zippers and the like. If your not in to Roto go with the Storm they make the Roto bags. But the new colors on the Roto's are the slickest out there IMO. You won't be sorry.

I have got an inline Brunswick 4 ball roller (made by KR) and I wouldn't  trade for it. I love it! Easy to manuever, very sturdy bottom (doesn't tip over) and decent storage. I would highly suggest this bag.
