Title: shoes
Post by: gojr1815 on November 01, 2005, 03:14:27 AM
I am looking for a new pair of shoes. My problem is I shuffle my feet so can't use any thing with a gum traction sole. What are my options and please don't say universal sole shoes.

unfortunately that may be your only option.. you may be able to buy the Master True Slide and place that on the part of the shoe you SHUFFLE on.. install it over the GUM SOLE.

Or, buy a SST Sole, and do the same thing,

Lind's Classics would be my choice.  Great shoe and the slick bottom.

For a good pair of bowling shoes, you would have to go with Linds, Classics (high end) or Champs (mid level).  I also shuffle my feet during my approach.  My Linds fell apart on me after 10 years.  I brought Dexters SST4 and I had a hard time adjusting to the traction sole.  It changed my timing a lot but it took some time to adjust to it.  Once in a while you would hear a loud sqeek during my approach. I have a friends who also shuffles, he tried 2 different pairs of Dexters. Even try to rub of the gum sole on them and still was not good. He is using Classics again. I'm actually thinking about going back to Linds Classic.  Remember not to get the Linds Special Edition because they have the gum traction soles also.  Good luck!

Thanks for all the replys. Now if I could just find a pair of linds that would fit. Problem is over the last 15 years I have had 4 pair of Linds and they all fit different even when they were all the same size. Thanks again.
