Can anyone reccommend which companies make sturdy, dependable shoes w/ a wide width? Preferably one with a strong heel and slide sole. my old ones have lost their traction and are quite beaten up!

They're not wide, but the 9G Tour Ultras are great shoes. I usually wear a wide shoe and find the TUs to be very comfy.
