Shopping for New 2-Ball Bag
« on: January 01, 2009, 12:33:51 AM »
My girlfried was nice enough to get me a new 2-ball Columbia tote for my birthday back in November but it didn't take long to it to tear apart (actually about 2 weeks). The seams on the shoulder strap came apart and the adjustable strap didn't hold very well. Also the metal piece on the bag that holds the strap came loose. It will probably be the last time I buy a bag from Columbia since it's the third bag from them that's fell apart on me within the last 2 years. This the one she got for me.

So I'm getting ready to buy another bag but this time one that's alot more durable since it will be the one I'll use the most for leagues and practice, may go with a bag with wheels this time. Can anyone suggest a good bag to have since I would need to get one pretty soon?

Take that back to the place where it was purchased. It sounds like the manufacturer warranty should take care of that type of damage.

If you can, aways buy KR bags. Most of them have a 5 year warranty and there durability can not be beat..

I know in the past Columbia bags have not had very good reviews..

Can I take it back without the receipt? I thought about it but she doesn't know what she did with it and she got it from our local pro shop. It's still ok just using the handles for now but I just don't want to get another Columbia bag again.

I have the KR Strikeforce 3-ball bag it's very nice since I've had it for over 2 years now and it's lasted longer than the other bags I've had from Columbia. The one I have been looking at from KR is the Crossfire bags

You shouldn't need a receipt if you got it from your local pro shop..

Do yourself a favor call Columbia directly and explain to them what wrong with bag. They should stand behind it. They when they replace it sell it so you can buy a KR bag that wont break
