slide comparison
« on: February 22, 2011, 12:19:23 AM »
I have SST8's and use the S8 slide and H5 heel and use in both places I bowl, I have never had to change the heel at any tournament, just the slides and usually to the S6...

I like the slide I get but the shies over all have been a disappointment, the toe of the push off shoe is shot and the velcro has been crap
I am looking at 3G tour ultras, what combination of heel and sole are equivalent to the Dexter combination?

I would say if you really like the sliding system on your sst 8 and you really want to get different shoes. Just get the sst 4se or sst 6.

You can use dexter soles and heels on 3g's.  You can have a shoe cobler take the ring of sole off and also grind down the triangle on the heel for the 3g's, thus letting you use dexter heels and soles.
