Sliding issues
« on: May 13, 2005, 03:09:18 PM »
I just purchased a pair of Dyno-thane Tour Deluxes form cheapbowlingballs.com, good guys, but I was wondering what the best way to break them in is?  I tried them tonight, & almost face planted when I wore the sliding shoe.  Would the slide sock be beneficial?  Do you need to break in a slide sock?  Should I pick up the #2 felt sole  ?Any help is appreciated as I would like to wear them soon.

Thanks,
Todd

Thanks I'll try that when I hit the lanes next.  It's been a while since I've had to break in new shoes, but I thought my SST 5's would last longer than they did.

This link takes you to a recent thread on this subject on the Miscellaneous site.  As you will see, I strongly recommend the Bowler's Slide Sock - I have no connection with the company, IMHO they just make a great product. --  JohnP
