All KR bags crappy?
« on: January 22, 2007, 11:31:58 AM »
I got a KR 2 ball roller, and the thing has been crap so far.  Several seams have completely come apart within a month of ownership.  I've had to get a needle and some strong thread and re-sew quite a bit.

Just wondering if KR stuff should be avoided in general, or if this is an anomaly.

Contact them and tell them what happened.  They have a great reputation and stand behind their product.

KR bags are the best bags made. All their bags have a 5 year warranty so not sure why you would be sewing it up. Just take it back where you bought it or call KR customer service. They will take care of your problem as they are top notch..

Exactly Mycroft!  Many bags are made by KR and most folks think mfgs. make bags.  Think about it folks.  If you were in the bowling ball mfg. business would you also make bags.  I think NOT.  KR is one of the biggest.

I like KR bags, however the last 4-ball roller is no good for travel. The collasable handle will only go down half-way. My falling apart Ebonite bag is much better for travle. NOT MADE BY KR>>>>

It took me a while to find my receipt.  I got in touch with KR, and I should have a repaired or replaced bag pretty soon.

I had a KR 4 bag roller. Probaly the worst engineered bag I've ever used and I took good care of it. However, for a long time the 2 bag shoulder was pretty durable till it finally wore out after years.

I have a KR 4 ball lane rover , it has a top compartment for shoes, it has  side and front pockets on the shoulder bag, it has a double zipper compartment for holding 2 balls with cups and divider for the balls. The bottom has double zipper and compartment for carrying 2 balls. The wheels are well made, the handle works fine. I have used it for about 2 years now after having the piece of sh-t donkey mule.

Cant really see much wrong with KR bags.........
