Buckskin soles

Do you guys just hit yours with a wire wheel to bring it back when its all compressed and flat?

I hit mine with a wire brush before each session to keep the surface fresh.

Yes for as long as possible till they need replacing. The newer ones the past few years slide a lot more to me then the ones from back in the day. Even new out of the package they have a lot of slide. More so then I would expect for what should be a least slide sole.

Old Linds Classic's you were taught to clean with warm water and mild soap to clean the dirt out of them a few times a year and air dry.  I assume this still works on interchangeable or buy new soles.

Wire brush will renew some nap but will not clean them.[

Thats what I thought.  Thanks.  Funny, all these years I have been thinking the buckskin was a "high" slide sole.  Just learning that is rather a low slide sole.
