I just got a pair of 7's but looking at this forum I see 6's are more popular. Are 7's not a good shoe? This is my first high-end/priced bowling shoes.

I have the sst7's and they're great. I have had the sst6's and have had a separation problem with the sole of the non-slide foot. My push off is from the inside front of the foot and the wear and separation has been a big problem. The sst7s use a black toe cap the wears quite well and have not had any problems. The only thing that you may have to be careful of is the toe cap on the sliding foot. If you slide more on the toe end of the foot you may catch the cap on the approach. Good luck with your new shoes.

They are pretty ugly but very functional. Bad color scheme from a marketting perspective.
