Strongest handle on 4 ball roller?
« on: December 14, 2005, 08:15:30 PM »
I had a 4 ball roller by Ebonite (a model they came out with probably 3 years ago...I only used it for about 1 and a half), and the handle finally broke after lifting it up the three steps in my bowling alley over and over and over.  I guess 65 pounds will do that.

It never seemed very thick or sturdy, and I've seen other brands with much bulkier, stronger looking handles.  I now want to buy an in-line 4 ball roller, and I was wondering if anyone has any opinions as to which current inline-4's out there have the sturdiest handles.

Thanks!

Just got one of these. Handle seems pretty strong.

I have a KR 4 bag roller that has lasted a long time.  I have had it more than 5 years, probably closer to 7.  It shows no signs of wearing out.

The handle did break this spring, but I contacted for a replacement.  After describing the bag and then emailing them a picture of the bag so they knew exactly which model it was, they provided a replacement at no charge.  Also, KR said this was a difficult handle to install so they had me send the bag to them and they installed it, again free of charge.  My only cost was the shipping.

I agree with CPA.. The KR/Brunswick are very durable handles, and IF something does go wrong, you can just use your 5 yr warranty

Yeah, I have a KR 4-ball roller, and I even bought a 2-ball tote that matches and can be strapped easily to the top to make it a 6-ball roller...

The handle on this thing is VERY durable. So are the wheels. I can't forsee it breaking probably ever. I would highly reccomend it.

Well, I want an inline 4 bag, even though I'm not sure how easy it will be to get into my car, without being able to take it apart into 2 pieces.

So based on your replies, I've decided to go the KR route and get the bag pnj1976 suggested.  http://www.krstrikeforce.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=8345&brand_id=

Thanks guys!

Broncobiv,  My bag it is great. So far have just used the 3/4 for the balls(3 inside and 1 out). Little heavy but I can get it in and out of my Ford Freestyle ok.

MG bowling was the cheapest for that bag that I could find ( yes, even cheaper then buddies.com), or if you have your USBC Mag. it had a $10.00 off coupon/code you can use from bowling.com which is even cheaper yet by using that code/coupon.
