Dexter #8 slide sole...not cool

I recently tried to replace my old camel #8 for my SST6's.  Apparently Dexter has scrapped the old one and now the #8 is a white microfiber.  I know they had a white microfiber before but it was a #6 IIRC.  I DO remember that I couldn't slide AT ALL with it.  So I tried the "new" #8 and it was the same thing...no slide at all.  The next step up is the #10 grey felt which is like Astroglide on ice.  

Does anyone know why Dexter got rid of the "old" #8 and if there are any available anywhere?  Buddies already has the microfiber listed so they're out.

You could look at Brunswick's slde pads.
I believe Dexter now makes them.
I replaced one of my Dexter ribbed heel's  with a new one from Brunswick.
Worked just fine.

this is just one of the reasons i gave up on dexter bowling shoes. i switched to dynorooz( now 3g )and haven't looked back.

This isn't an option for me.  The 3g's are only made up to a size 13, and I wear a 14.

Blockbuster Bowling has them in stock as we made a big buy when we heard they were being discontinued.
