I currently use the Ebonite Rev Tape that goes on the fingers (the ones with the grippy texture). I like the tape, but the only problem is that when I remove it, it leaves a sticky glue residue. Can anyone recommend a product that will remove this?

Columbia actually makes a product called "Tape Residue Remover". However, I think it's just acetone, which might work just as well.

I was going to suggest acetone - works great. And it can also be used to enlarge your grips if need be.

Try lighter fluid too, you can get that anywhere. Just remember to take it out of your bag if you fly!

Some nail polishes are Acetone, some are not. You can buy it at any Home Depot.

The columbia residue remover is NOT straight acetone. I don't know what else is in it, but it doesn't smell like acetone.

Something that has always worked well for me, and is very convienient and inexpensive (a bowlers favorite
) , is the individual packets of alcohol pads. They usually come in 100 or 120 per box for right around a dollar. Easy, ne mess, no fuss. I use them on my thumb before applying the thumb protecting tape (removes skin oils and soap residues, allowing tape to adhere better), and to clean out any residue of tape that I have removed from a thumb slug.

I second what MTFD24 said. Those mini alcohol pads (bought in a drug store near the diabetic supplies) are the perfect size for getting tape gunk out of holes. They're pretreated, individually wrapped, and you can carry a whole handful in your bag without taking up a lot of room.
