A supurb bowling shoe, but lately I've had a couple of problems sticking on my slide. Before I started sticking, I was using the rippled heel. One day all of a sudden, it became too grippy for me...all other soles gave just as much grip, so I moved to the grey hard flat sole. This gave me a better slide, but at times I still got stuck at the foul line.
I had a look last night, and it seems that the rubber that holds the heel in place actually becomes level with the heel on impact (which I assume is the cause of me sticking at the line).
Has anyone else had a problem with this? And if so, how'd you fix it? I'm thinking of taking a thin layer of rubber off, just so it isn't level with the heel on impact.
Cheers!

Sounds like a quick fix but you might want to try the "adjust-a-heel" that has the different material that are for the sole and velcros on the front edge of the heel for different slides for the ABS shoe

He is correct those ABS heels take awhile to break in.I have the adjust-a-heel also, it's the only way to go Buddies Pro Shop sells them....
We rarely sell the ABS shoes without that heel it's that good....
