Author Topic: Dynorooz shoes...how are they, and how much should I look to spend? (Read 5510 times)

I like my SST5 LX's, but I was a little peeved when the heel started to tear free after about 6 months. I'm about to win a bunch of money in my work's bracket pool (probably) and I'm thinking of trying out a pair of Dynorooz. I really like the styling of a couple of them, like the Shufflers and the S 1500s in black/burgundy. How do they hold up? Also, where is the best place to get them? Are shoes one of the things that it's always better to buy online, or should I support my shop on them?

So a 9.5 Wide would be maybe a 10 D. I think the last pair of D-width shoes I had were 10.5 but they were kinda big. I might go try on some tennis shoes to see how the 10D fits. I'm not looking to play basketball or run in them, so they don't have to be perfect.

As I said, I have a pair of entry-level Dexters. Does anyone know how Dexters run? Large, small, to-size? They fit well enough, and that might be better to use as a basis.

What does the Adjust-a-heel do? The Sport Ultras already come with four interchangeable heels, I can't imagine having to make more adjustments.

The Adjust-a-heel could give you a degree of flexibility that you might not quite find on tricky approaches. It's basically the hard flat rubber heel, but with about a 1/2" section taken from the front of the heel. There you put the same size strip material as you would like your different soles on the Sport or Tour Ultras. A very nice feature indeed. As they wear out, you can order the replacement soles from Dyno-thane, and cut them to size - so if you need to replace a sole, you still have more than enough material to cut pieces for your heels.
