Title: What 6 ball roller should I get?
Post by: ntruax on April 19, 2007, 10:03:24 AM
I was wondering if some of you could recommend what one I should buy.  I'd get a Roto Grip probably if they made one but since they don't I was leaning towards either the Storm or the Columbia.  Which one do you think is nicer/better?  Thank you.

What is the difference between 600 and 900 denier nylon?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denier_%28measure%29#Denier

The higher the number, the thicker the fiber. So - 900 denier would be 50% denser than 600 denier.

Also - in answer to the best 6 ball roller - it can be found in any pair of 3 ball roller bags.
I went to a 6 ball roller - I didn't care for it at all. 2 3 ball bags makes more sense to me.
Right now I use a 4 ball roller. If I need more, I use a tote.

I would tend to stay away from a 6 ball roller.  They are almost too big, and getting it in vechicles is not always easy.  It mostly depends on if you are planning on using 6 balls ALL of the time.

One option you have is to buy a 3 ball bag, put on a Joey or other Add on Bag, and have a 2 ball tote.  That way your options for 3 4 5 or 6 balls are always there.

None, get yourself 2 three ball rollers, easier to move around and easier to get your stuff out of the bag.

Get a Roto Grip or Storm 4 Ball roller and a 2 ball tote it's easier and less expensive. You can't beat the 5 year warrenty on the roller. Those 6 ball monsters are alot of work.

KR/Brunswick bags also come with a 5 year warranty as well.  They are great bags, high quality, and well designed.

Thanks for all of the responses.  I'm not getting one now.  I ordered the KR Lane Rover 4 ball roller.  I only plan on having 3 balls myself, but a friend of mine went in on the bag with me for letting him store a ball in it.  Thanks again for the help.

UPS just dropped off my bag.  They sent me the wrong one.  It's a KR-T 2 ball roller that converts to a 4 ball.  I guess they can't read.  Man I love getting what I didn't order.......
