I have one which I used for a game. I got a size too big, but using a wrist sleeve helped with the fit around my wrist. Though the contact between the posterior part of my hand and the support left a gap. A size smaller would improve in the fit which is important to make this brace work. Without the sleeve, the contact was more present and supportive. The straps just stuck out too far.
My wrist can get "lazy" after long periods of bowling, or when it gets over worked at work prior to bowling leagues. I have history of wrist injury as well as early stages of OA and tendinitis. With that said, I could see this wrist brace being beneficial when my wrist gets lazy/tired. But I don't feel the need to wear one every time I bowl.
I noticed how light weight and soft it is. It's not too stiff which I don't like feeling. The back support didn't get in the way unless I broke my wrist like I do during spare shooting. It did its job there. I could see this being useful to me when my wrist gets "lazy" and avoiding my wrist breaking too far back when shooting spares.
The construction of the Clean Shot seemed cheap at first, but I think they did this to make it light weight yet supportive. If fitted correctly, I can see this being helpful to those bowlers who break their wrist a lot. Though over time, I can see the need to have the support pieces needing to be replaced.
OVerall, I think this wrist brace can do its job with the correct fit. It allows freedom of movement for the hand/wrist and it doesn't affect the grip. It's light weight and supports are firm enough to do it's job, but it will wear out. It's made with hard flexible foam which is good IMO for comfort. The plastic piece though should be a little stiffer.
