I got the Sport Delux...only came with 2 soles and two heels. At the time I had some extra Dexter soles so I used those also. Came with the white one (Number 2? Synthetic) which slides ridiculously too much. Might as well bowl in my socks. The number 4 (Deer Skin) works great. Not a huge slide but enough and good stability. Only problem is I occasionaly have to use a wire brush to get out the "smoothness" and dirt which eventully I just washed it out with soap and water.
I was interested in the Number 3 sole which is straight up leater, no fuzzy material. I finnaly got it after it being backordered. Traced the cutout with a pen from my number 4 sole to cut it out, which took a good pair of sharp sissors.
I tried it out and it seems to have the exact slide as the number 4 sole only difference is the dirt doesn't get inside it and no wire brush is nessary and no whiping off my slide sole to get off the dirt, pebbles or whatever else I might step on in the pit/bowlers area before stepping on the lanes.
Then I was wondering...why aren't ALL soles made like this!
