Title: Attention: BFDT Members
Post by: janderson on December 08, 2004, 08:43:34 AM
These teams would remain as-is: (starting averages shown)

REV_o_LUTIONS       (232)   a_ak57              (145) = 377
markb               (229)   Pat Kruschel        (169) = 398
230-n-up-or-bust    (226)   Rockh3ad            (171) = 397
Brunswick300        (222)   LadyW               (171) = 393
The Curse of Dusty  (221)   thfonz98            (171) = 392
heckler17           (219)   future155           (179) = 396
Rick Wunder         (217)   Chucksta29          (180) = 397
srlunatic           (217)   LuvThatWhiteDot     (181) = 398
toasty73            (217)   dleslie300          (183) = 400
1fife               (215)   HammerBowler        (181) = 396
Leftyhi-trak        (215)   ThongPrincess       (194) = 409
T_Normile           (214)   revmaster22         (204) = 418
deester69           (212)   MI_2_AZ             (198) = 410
pjr300              (212)   Jeffrevs            (199) = 411
Chazman819          (210)   tenpinitis          (200) = 410
mumzie              (207)   laner7pin           (200) = 407
Joe Falco           (206)   triggerman          (206) = 412

People needing partners:

Glen Hershberger    (227)   new partner needed
Curly               (219)   partner needed
Aristotle           (213)   *sub needed for Ragnar (ConalO) subbing ATM)
TrimMan             (207)   Partner needed
janderson           (206)   sub needed for Strider (unknown duration)
ConalO              (188)   Wants to bowl
debs130             (186)   partner needed
Jeff The Chef       (175)   sub needed for BowlDiddly (unknown duration)

I propose the following teams be formed as new teams until the
injured return or as permanent teams:

Glen Hershberger    (227)   Jeff The Chef       (175) = 402
Curly               (219)   debs130             (186) = 405
Aristotle           (213)   ConalO              (188) = 401
TrimMan             (207)   janderson           (206) = 413

Ok, ok, I know it looks like I'm tipping things in my favor, but
pairing me up with TrimMan (207) versus Strider (206) isn't
a huge stretch.

Alternately, we can throw everyone back into the pool and redraw
partners in a hi-lo format using the current averages.  There have
been some major changes for some people.

Please discuss these changes.  I'd like feedback from everyone
on whether we should go this route or not.

Thank you.

Either way is fine with me. I'm sure my partner just wants a partner too!!!

I know how hard it is to keep the members up - I'm sure you've seen all my posts about needing bowlers for scratch doubles.

We could always create a "2nd half" of the season and re-pool. Either way is fine with me.

Some of the averages have changed drastically since this tournament began.  I agree with PJR300's suggestion.  I'd like to see a split season that uses the ending averages for the first half and re-pooling for partners.  We could finish the first half with the match-ups suggested for those who lost partners.
That's my two cents for what it's worth.

Whatever you decide is fine.  You're doing a great job and it's appreciated.

As long as my fellow lefty doesn't want to dump me, I'm cool with your suggested changes.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

dirtbikebowler has posted that he'd like to continue.  Kinkaid and dirtbikebowler could form yet another team.

Sorry you've been have so many problems.  It's frustrating when people suddenly stop adding scores, especially when you see them posting elsewhere.  Looks like you're doing a great job.

The new job plant is pretty interesting (anyone need a deal on diapers? j/k), but my internet time is going to take a huge hit.  No access at work, and not much time during the next few weeks.
