Had such a terrible series (442) this morning, that I was almost afraid to bowl tonight. However, things are looking up.

How I booked a 204 last year is beyond me! If I did'nt strike, I had a split....but I made my ten pins. I guess this slowly but surely thing is emphasizing slowly.....tourney partners let me know if you want out!

Started with a bang and ended with a whimper...256, 246, 182 for 684.

The 182 doesn't even remotely reflect how I was throwing the ball...I made 2 bad shots that game - in the 1st and 9th frames (opened both of them). I struck the 2nd and 3rd frames; in the 4th, I buried the ball in the pocket to leave a smash 8-pin; I struck in the 5th; in the 6th, I again buried the ball to leave a ringing 10; I struck in the 7th; in the 8th (becoming my favorite lane!), as the ball leaves my hand, I'm thinking "that feels perfect," ball explodes into the pocket to leave me ANOTHER smash 8-pin. I shoulda had 7 in a row...

...oh well. I did manage to carry the first ball in the 10th (on my new favorite lane), but it was a bit light and then I left a flat 10 and covered it. It was a fun, fun end to the night.
