) - 177. Finally in them middle of game 2 I moved almost to 5th arrow - I could keep the ball right from there, but not carry - and on occasion get to shoot at a washout if I wasn't firm with the ball. Very strange - absolutely no oil on the back 15 feet, but you had to stay firm in the ball because of the flood on the front 45 feet. And, as a special bonus, no carrydown. 149-161-174 for a wonderful 484.
FOlks in the big scratch league tonight either shot really, really bad, or really, really good. The other team had 3 big 700s (one a 780) and a 540. Our team high was 593.
Something is wrong with the lane machine, and the lanes were extremely dry tonight. Usually not a problem.

I only had one bad set out of the 4 leagues, even Monday's sport league with a new pattern wasn't total disaster. Monday Sport 148-170-161-144=623, Tuesday 202-205-212-224=843, Wednesday 147-159-141=447

Not an excuse, but I think I really did leave the better ball for the condition at home. Last night my PDW was rolling a lot like it had on Wednesday. I switched to the Vicious Pearl and had a successful night. Unfortunately, it was not with me Wed. Note to self...bring Vicious Pearl to Wednesday League--------------------
