Post by: Strider on September 19, 2004, 12:29:22 PM
Post your scores here.

I'll get week #1's results posted soon.  Spent all weekend cleaning up after Ivan.  Things should be back to normal soon.

What's your excuse?

I still am not too adept at making adjustments.

Strider, because of my low scores last week, I have the honor of sitting out this week, so can I use my scores from my Tues sport league?  Normally, I use my THS scores.  Do I use the first 3 or last 3 scores (we bowl 4 games)?  Sorry, to my partner.

MI 2 AZ: Report the first 3 games.  Maybe if it's tough enough, I'll let you add up all 4.

Bob: I'd rather not use practice scores.  If you can't make league, I'll assign you a blind.  This week goes until the 25th.  Can you make league the 23rd?  If so, use those scores.

No excuse here.
I think the driver of my bowling ball just plain went brain dead.

267+258+227 = 752 believe it or not clean.

Strider report because I know it will amuse him - No washouts but, I did manage to come in light and leave the 5-7. No I have no idea how the 10 pin went. You know it wasn't because I threw the ball well.

Debs partner well done. If we could somehow manage to bowl better the 3rd game we might get somewhere. I suck at realizing what is going on to make adjustments too. Maybe we are just stubborn ?
There is that LOFT thing I have too.

It's going to take some adjusting to this center.  A lot of 9 counts and several splits.  At least the scores were better this week 168-180-177=525 the 4th game was a 171.  Overall a consistent night.

Oh and we got to have our rears handed to us by Nick Smith and company  They were kind enough to let us get one win

I hear ya partner. Going through some struggles myself without being able to feel the ball. I did bowl league this week since the doc said that I'm most likely not going to get the feeling back in my hands until my treatments are over.

Recipe for disaster.

LOFT + tougher conditions + Team of Hooters chicks bowling next to you.

139 – 177 – 218  534

12 splits for the night, converted 4 of them.

What is frustrating is this is not a hard shot, all they did was increase the outside oil to about 10 units.

Strange night.  First game, tried to play the lanes "correctly".  Threw a mild ball tight inside because that's where the shot started, and not enough oil for anything else.  Quickly developed into a tight tube.  Miss 1 inside and through the beak.  Miss a few outside, and go brooklyn.  Finally switched to a stronger pearl and banked it off the gutter.  ZMan will especially like the last game.  Solid 9, 4 bagger, gutter spare (apparently is was possible to miss too far outside ), sheet.

177 (made the 4-6), 205 (just missed the 4-10 in the 10th), 260 = 642.

I was a few spares short of a really good game to start with, then in both of the next two games, I followed  strings of 4 opens with strings of 5 strikes....If I ever learn to shoot a spare, I just might be dangerous.

Never thrown the ball so BAD in my life. Couldnt get the ball off of my hand the same way twice and almost left a Lily (5 pin fell just before the setter came down). If I would have left it which was in the first game, I would have quit. Get to see Mo next week, will get better I promise!
