Worst possible series tonight. Left a wobbly 4-9 on my last ball when I needed a 9 count. Add the fact I missed 2 single pins, made runs at 300 each game, first 8 then 4 pin, first 7 then 10 pin 2nd+3rd games, I am a little hot at myself right now. I do have 1 800 before. Also, I had a confidence builder at a tourney Sunday when I held my own in a scratch event with some really good bowlers(Kelly Kulick, Tomek and some regional players were there) and it carried over to tonight.

OK, you tell me.  First week of league (before we started) I shoot 677 or therabouts, after 4 martinis.  Then I bowl sober and average about 170.  Tonight the shot has changed, I have 3 martinis before bowling and shoot 266 - 210 - 223 = 699.  The shot was like bowling in 1981 - throw as hard as you wanted at the gutter and it bounced back.  Would have been 60 better if I had remember "finger dancing" sooner.  Is it the gin or just being able to throw hard?  I'll try sober next week and see what happens.

Awful, awful night! (147 181 147 = 475)
The lanes were even drier than last week when I was forced to throw urethane from left of center arrow. I'd say the very light oil held up for about 4 frames and then disappeared. Too bad my plastic spare ball cracked on me 2 weeks ago and I haven't had time to replace it yet I would have had a decent shot throwing plastic over center arrow out to about 7-8 board at the breakpoint. Oh well, I'll get 'em next week!

TP,

I really should switch them, shouldn't I? LOL

I thought that the house I use for the BFDT would produce higher scores than the old, wooden-laned house I use for all of my other online tourneys.
