BOTBC 11-17 to 11-23
« on: November 16, 2003, 10:16:15 PM »
Post them here and let's see who can beat Pin Kisser's 165 pin difference between any 2 games.

I'm taking a week off from all of my leagues so that my ring finger will have a chance to heal.  It's swollen from the knuckle down, and slightly bruised.  I think I hyper-extended it last Sunday when I dropped my ball while throwing it (of course it landed in the channel).

Debs, that's a big ouch.  I hope it heals quickly.  Don't start back until it is better, we don't want to lose you permanently from the barrel.

Debs
Hope you fell better very soon. I think I pulled some tendons a couple weeks ago trying the tucked pinky thing........wont do that again.

Last nights bowling found the old wood lanes clean, very reactive, I think they striped the entire lane in preparation for some local tournament. I am staying optimistic about the conditions tonight, cause with this place ya just never know.

Could be posting some much better scores tonight if things hold up. Im crossing my fingers and toes, cause last night left me feeling very good.

!!!!!DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!

If only this house would strip and care for the lanes like this every week.

161 160 211 = 532

FYI........sunday night mixed league was 211 170 162 = 543

Im sure this is a one time shot for me at this house but at least I know its not me totally, I only wish I could figure out the slop and adjust for it to keep up these scores!!!!

Nice shooting, Ed!

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone.  The ring finger is a bit less swollen, but it still hurts a lot to make a fist.  It's killing me to miss my leagues, but I'm afraid of doing further damage, so I'll just baby it for a while.

Excellent, Ed!  A most impressive set.  Keep up the good work and maybe you can place PinKisser back on the bottom where he belongs - jk, SuckerFish.

Please give your finger time to heal properly which could be up to 6 weeks, Debs.   That's how long it can take tendons to heal.  Quit as soon as you feel any discomfort when starting back.  We don't want you permanently damaged and having to switch to the wrong side.

Just take it one week at a time.

Sorry to hear that, Debs.
Good Luck on a fast recovery!

Looks like we get to try to stick Doc Hollywood, this week.

Nice bowling Ed.  Keep it up.  PK told me he misses the bottom of the barrel

Well if Ed is at the bottom, I join him with my 532.  The shot was actually a little better than it has been the past few months here.  193-168-171=532  I needed my 1st game score Monday night for my last game to get my stepladder 191-192 for the 1st 2 then 181.  Oh well one of these days

Ed, sorry to burst your bubble, but it was a tie 532-532 unless you are looking game to game.  Then I got you games 1 and 2 and you got game 3.

Now if you look at my Monday scores 191-192-181=564 Then you got me 1 game.  So Congratulations you got me 2 games and tied a series!  And I didn't even get 1 200 this week, I guess I used them all up last week

I expect you will be seeing more of those 200+ games and 500+ series soon and we will all be trying to keep ahead of you.   Maybe PK will even be pushed back to the bottom of the barrel  No, I think he is enjoying staying off of the bottom too much to go back.

TP
I still hale you as winner, but I had to bask in the glow of a single victory. I have been struggling so long, I thought I would have to take up shuffle board or something.

On a lighter side, I will enjoy my week being paired along side of your beauty, wisdom, and skills.

ecajberry - Did you get any CPL's?  If you did you would have the edge over TP.

I have drilled up a ball this week and with a whole new drill pattern.  I will be throwing it in league and no prior practice.  I will see if I can keep from being on the bottom this week.  So I need a 533 to keep from being there.  I hope I can do that.
