Looks like I am the late starter with my league not getting underway till Sept 8th. So I guess you can start it whenever ya want, but I do want in on this also.

I start Thursday night as well, but the way I have been bowling lately I will be no competition for any of you.

Hey I didn't get a ruling about the 28 game ave of 189, can it be overlooked?  If so I bolwed tonight for summer sweeps and shot 192-170-201=563.  We start the winter next Tuesday.

Shall we say let the games begin???

This is scratch!  Course it's only for bad bowlers.  Average is supposed to be below 185.  Hence the name Bottom of the Barrel.

There's really no competition, only a couple of half way decent bowlers, Thongprincess and CB.  Course they're both [deleted] lefties.

The idea is not to be the worst bowler each week.  Again, they've got one guy in here, Pin Kisser, that usually brings up the rear each week so there's no worry there.

The way to really make points is to bowl a mixed league and pick up CPL's (Chicks per league).  You can bribe the CPL judge pretty easily though by contacting the bar at his bowling alley and charging some drinks for him.

Pick up chicks? First off, I am beyond picking up much of anything aside from my mug of maggies and my balls, Im to damn fat, old and ugly, not to mention the wife would have some input about me even trying. Also the fact that I am in a mens league, leaves me sitting high and dry....hahahahahahahaha
I also think I will give the lowest sucker here a run since my average is really low. If you all consider 180 or less a bad bowler, then I am affraid to hear where I fit in.

The worst part is it's all true.

1- Lobster dinner owed to TP by PK for not getting to a 600 series first.
Might be able to pay that off this weekend, if I can get it past the wife!

Ed - Looks like you get to see how well everyone does, then decide if you want in or not.
LOL - From the sounds of it, you are my long lost, older brother.

Don't mind Sr.K, he is just mad because the last time we bowled an ABT together, I made the semifinals and sent him packing.

Actually, I do seem to unknowingly cherish the bottom-feeder position.
Shot a 267 last year and still only had a 561 series.

PK I won't bring up the dinner.  I don't want to see the wrath of the wifey and I don't think it would be cool to report to the first day with the students with a shiner or two  J/K  And I believe it was Surf and Turf...Steak AND Lobster

SrKegler, since when are you trying to get a lefty any kind of compensation?  I'd expect you to make some kind of crack about I should have had to hit 700 since the lefties have it sooooo easy and a 600 should be unworthy.  But then again those WERE the terms of the bet  Another way PK was a suckerfish?
