I get to post first  Another week of improving 171-170-147-190=678

I should have trusted my instincts and changed balls sooner in the 3rd game.  I had been using the Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl and it just wasn't getting into the pocket.  It was going too long, but I blamed it on operator error.  I switched to the PDW, which was over hooking in practice, and only left 1 open in the next 7 frames after opening the front 3.  Chalk it up as a lesson learned.

So scores for this 171-170-148=488  Next week is a bye for the 4th.

PBA Regional/Senior pattern #3 (2nd week) - odd transition this week.

174-196-232: 602

Anyone else missing next week because of the 4rth of July?  I don't like the idea of penalizing someone just because of what night of the week they bowl.  It isn't like bowling centers are running sport leagues every night...

147+165+168 = 480

Two blowout seven-ten splits in the first game helped a lot. Also the fact that I whiffed two 7 pins helped to. Add those in with the usual dose of splits/chops and you got another sub-500 week. Worked on some single pin shooting this week...we'll see what happens next time.

41' sport shot- the first time I've bowled on this pattern this summer. 28 units from 1-10, 45 units inside of that. Played tighter than the 45 foot pattern believe it or not.

214-213-172= 599

I like this pattern- if I could have stayed away from splitsville in game three, I would have had my first 600 for sure in this league.

Had a 162...182...145 for a 489. Again backends were flying last night. This type of shot is definitely my weekest. I need to learn how to cut back on revs.

Good luck Rev!!
