No leagues this week as the city tournament is going on all week.  I will use the scores from the first set I bowled in the tournament.

244-268-243=755

Very good week for me.  My partner and I will probably win doubles (1471 scratch, 1549 handicap), my team may win the team event (3610 handicap), and I shot 727 scratch in singles.  I think I will get 2nd in all events, behind my doubles partner.  I beat him scratch (2163-2112), but he got me with his handicap, getting 18 pins per game vs my 8 per game.

my entering avg. was 221 and the tourney is rated at 90% of 230.  Not too used to getting much handicap help, so I'll take it any way I can get it.

Lined up in practice, then first game back to back splits through the face, spare, back to back washouts (adjusted), pocket 7-10 followed by a pocket 8-10 (left handed). Finally pulled my head out and at least struck for the last 2 games. Sorry partner, just a bad night for me.

Not all the way, but damned close.  I now know the true meaning of "pain management".  Before I had excruciating pain throughout my lower bicep/upper forearm after bowling.  Now, it's merely "sore" and nothing that a little Naproxen and ice can't remedy.
