Threw the Horizon the first 2/3 of game 1, which was a mistake. I finally switched to the Widow. Took me a couple frames on the left lane to figure out it was playing longer than the right. After the adjustment I was flush for the rest of the night. I really wish I had that first game back. "New ball syndrome" at it's best.

Very good week for me. My partner and I will probably win doubles (1471 scratch, 1549 handicap), my team may win the team event (3610 handicap), and I shot 727 scratch in singles. I think I will get 2nd in all events, behind my doubles partner. I beat him scratch (2163-2112), but he got me with his handicap, getting 18 pins per game vs my 8 per game.

Not all the way, but damned close. I now know the true meaning of "pain management". Before I had excruciating pain throughout my lower bicep/upper forearm after bowling. Now, it's merely "sore" and nothing that a little Naproxen and ice can't remedy.

We took on a new project - after 4 days notice, we put up a web store for a client. We've filled over 800 orders since Feb. 20th, and raised over $4K for them, as well as a decent chunk for us. And we make just about everything ourselves. Nice money, but I'm glad the event is a week from today and I can relax for a couple of days - after I get at least as much inventory completed and shipped across country!
