I think they forgot to oil the left side of lanes, righties going long, break point at 40+ feet, my stuff was hooking at the arrows and rolling out. Threw one double the whole night, immediatly followed by a pocket 7-10.
At least my spare game worked, made every makeable spare, including 6,7,10 split.

I'm just glad there isn't prize money on the line, Debs, cause you're gonna struggle with a lousy bowler like me. I also had a lesson yesterday and we really worked on stuff, so maybe it will get better. Anyhow, here is my line from this week:167-113-219 = 499
Yes, that's right. I threw a 113 with 6 (!) splits, of which I couldn't even convert the one baby split!

FWIW,
charles and jkiser were last year's regular season champs. We(bass & I) would have had a better shot at taking last year's title is bass wouldn't have had to drag that anchor for the first 20-25 games. Safe to say, this season hasn't made me feel much better about certain facets of my game. However, none of this year's concerns are health related and WILL be worked out in the next few weeks. If not, there will be a slightly used pair of SST6 LX's for sale 'round these parts for next to nothing. I talked to bass yesterday and he's still reeling from the Big Tour event in Oshkosh last weekend. It appears that a certain half of the lane was treated with less than playable conditions. bass wouldn't complain unless there was a problem. He can kill 'em without the assistance of a wall. If I can get back in touch with him and pawn off the Daddy day-care duties, we might make the trip. bass, if you read this, how 'bout it?

Have a scratch tournament up in the Great White North on saturday.
Last year I tried to do both and it wasn't a good time( 9 hours on the road between the two days wasn't fun).
That's with taking 3rd on that saturday and never having a chance on sunday.
I 've started to pick and choose more carefully the tournaments I bowl down in the Madison area(had a personality conflict with a tournament director).
So when I show up down there they don't/won't know I'm coming until they see me in the check-in line.
