I had two lefties who decided to attack from a wide angle and I fought all night long to find decent ball reaction. Didn't help that I chopped two spares and flagged two single pins as well...

To prove just how inept I've become, I've managed to drop nearly 20 pins from last year's average on a fairly simple shot.

It seems that the wheels have come off the cart. Inconsistent speed, poor accuracy, and a head-scratching ball reaction every once in a while. I've recently had some health issues and for nearly three months haven't been near 100%. However, I'm sick and tired of using this as a crutch for my change in performance from last season. If there is any "light at the end of the tunnel" out of this, it's the fact that my spare shooting has vastly improved over last year. I've missed only three single pin spares, all of them 10 pins (only one of sigificance as the other two were in the fill ball in the eleventh). As a last ditch effort, I've gone through the trouble of asking Santa for a little help. So, I'll double check my mantle for that special stocking stuffer that I'd really like to receive. If for no other reason, than to keep my partner from making the 60 minute journey South to kick my azz.
