BOTBC Week 1 09-12-04 to 09-18-04 Results

Week 1 Strange Decision
It is the BOTBC after all so why not ?
I'm combining scores.
Those that posted in Doc's thread but, not mine will have their score's from Doc's thread used and vice versa.
Those that posted in both will have their score's used from those posted in my thread.
Trust me next week will be clearer now that the quack that manufactures the bowling ball coating (just kidding Doc) has been put in his place.

As a general rule the worse you bowl the more likely it is i will butcher your user name and make fun of your scores. All in good fun and never ever meant to make anyone angry. If I go to far simply send me a message and I will post a public apology. It's all in fun.

Here we go. With a new added category of Variance between your highest and lowest game in the series for the week. If you do not give me individual game scores, muwahahahaha I will make them up to add to your series total.
Hmmm this may effect your Variance allowing me to taunt you. Go figure.

Baltimora - 590 Variance - 31. CPL's 0.
Obviously concentrating too much on bowling and not enough on gaining CPL's or DPL's.
Congratulations on floating to the top of the barrel this week.

Doc Hollywood - 589 Variance - 13. CPL's 0.
Just edged out by the guy concentrating too much. With a weak CPL excuse.
Doc you can still get CPL's with your wife around can't you ?
Pchee would.

Chucksta29 - 581 Variance 16. CPL's 0.
Ok I'll take stories of CPL's or DPL's you try to get yourselves even if you fail to "score." Where's the Peach when you need CPL stories ?

Icetink - 562 Variance 21. CPL's 0.
I'll take CPL stories even if it is about women on your team.
We here at BOTBC Inc. are not too proud to hear about regular hot chicks on your team.

Rockh3ad - 555 Variance 6. CPL's 0.
I sense a trend. Too much concentration on bowling = doom for CPL or DPL results.

Thfonz98 - 545 Variance 31. CPL's 7 !!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what your Commissioner likes to read. Young chicks, old chicks all together all in one week .Excellent.
I'll blame the high Variance on the 7 Kamikazes.
Your next step my young apprentice is get said CPL's to buy you a drink.
Preferably top shelf booze in the drink. This scores extra.
No handing them your own money to go to the bar. Although having them be your quasi cocktail waitress is a bonus in and of itself even if they do not buy the drink.

Bob7 - 539 Variance 299. (This is where the muwahaha comes in.) CPL's 1.
Underage penalty does not apply because Bob is underage also.
Bob did not report his scores so I'll assume he shot 300 which landed him the CPL.
He got excited about the score and CPL then shot a 1 the next game.
Was then ignored by the CPL and finished with a fine 238 for his series.
It could happen.

Debs130 - 530 Variance 48. DPL's 0.
Ah my doubles partner checks in with a scary 48 Variance. Keep both eyes open all of the games this week. I love giving coaching advice to people I've never seen bowl.

ThongPrincess - 497 variance 28. DPL's 0.
You'd think I'd cut her some slack for using a sport shot for scores. You'd be thinking wrong.
Nearly the bottom feeder this week but, saved by our illustrious new pretender to the lifetime crown.

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you our first Bottom Feeder aka Sucker Fish and lowest scoring bowler for week 1. The man who is holding the barrel up from the bottom, I give you..............

SlimeyPebble - 444 Variance 14. CPL's 0.
It's hard to have a huge variance when you are averaging a buck 48 a game.
This may be a BOTBC record for week one.
If the original Sucker Fish Pin Krusher had posted this week I'm sure he would be impressed by this performance.

Well done. I'm sure it will get better as the year goes on. If it doesn't I can only offer up the sage advice given to me by Billy Hardwick after he saw me bowl.
"Take two weeks off then quit."
Either that or drink heavily.
Or maybe cheat.

SlimeyPebble, that was very gentlemanly of you to save me from being the official 1st Bottom Feeder  I am sure I will sink there at least once before the end of the season.

Zman, very entertaining! Our esteemed PK is out of town on business this week, or so he says.  He may actually be going for some bowling lessons or working on building his CPLs for the new season I do have it on good authority he will make his debut this week.

I'm confused when/what to post.  I bowl on Saturday mornings, so last week I bowled 234, 225, 166 = 625.  Yesterday (Saturday morning) I bowled the 189, 176, 197 = 562.  So I guess the 625 would go under week 1 and the 562 will go under week 2 (this week).

You know, what can I say, I'm happy I saved someone from the bottom, I should be there all year if the lanes stay the way they are, its hard being a lefty when the house is biased to righties.  But it makes me better and I still have fun, and I want a cpl for my mom buying me a beer, LOL

SlimeyPebble, be very careful making statements about being a lefty and poor lane conditions.  These righties in this thing will automatically accuse you of being a whiney lefty  I know from personal experience, I too am a lefty.

Hey what do you think of that, two lefties at the bottom of the barrel

Icetink,  The confusion is Doc started a post before the Zman Official Start.  Your week 1, was actually a preweek 1 and your scores for 9/18 are the real week 1 scores.  If you posted for both 9/11 (Doc's post) and 9/18 (Zman's post), Zman used the 9/18 scores in the results.  Your scores for 9/25 will be the scores for Week 2.

BaH!  So my 625 series doesn't count!  Oh well, thanks for clarifying things for me!  I'll just bowl another 625 this week  I'll continue to post scores from my Saturday league on a THS with flying backends and skip posting sport shot league results lol!  After playing on a sport shot, I'm sure the house shot will feel so much easier, heh.

For the first two weeks on a THS, I averaged 198.  For the first week on a sport shot, I averaged 138 LOL!!!  At the sport shot league there are no hot chicks so I won't bother with anything regarding it for that matter because no girls = no CPL's.

I would have helped you out bowling-wise, if I could have.
Instead, I will offer you this piece of advice:
NEVER tell them your mom bought you a beer, say your CPL was a mature, attractive, sensitive to your needs type of woman!

Yes TP, I will be debuting this week for better or worse.
Be a good little lefty and shoot another sub-500 for me, won't you please?

SlimeyPebble, what we must endure for being so blessed to be lefties  I won't be at the top, Debs is pushing for that place of honor.  At least I went plus 500
