Sign up here to join the winter Bowling Forum Doubles Tournament.  High and low averages are paired together to make evenly matched teams.  Scoring will be both scratch and handicap (80% of 220).  I will need your high book average from this past winter season (summer average is OK if that is all you have).  Last year’s average is used for the first week’s handicap and then discarded.  Your average (and handicap) will change every week based on the scores you turn in.  The week is Sunday to Saturday.  Please have all scores turned in by Tuesday.  If you can't bowl for some reason, a blind (average -10) will be assigned.  This is a fun tournament.  There is no fee, so all bowlers are welcome.  We’re playing for fun, so we’re all on the honor system.  Pick one league to use throughout the BFDT.  Don't just turn in your highest set of the week.  A second league or tournament score may be used if your primary league is not held (weather, illness, out of town…) for some reason.  Please contact me if you need to substitute for your main league.  Reply here or message me if you have any questions.

Give me your book average and what date you start.  Once I have a bunch of replies, we will decide on the starting date.  This will be your only chance.  I will replace bowlers as needed (Please don't sign up unless you are serious about posting every single week.  I hate blinds and so does your partner), but will not be adding teams very regularly.  If you have to miss a bunch of time (moving, injury...) please let me know so you can be replaced temporarily or permanently as needed.

You asked for low average bowlers -- count me in. Struggled to finish with 171 average last year.

Start -- September 13th.

Make sure you save one of those BIG, BAD AZZ STUD bowling partners for me  Lord knows I need all the help I can get  I hope I don't embarrass myself too badly

Why does everyone's leagues start so late? In my town we always start in the middle of Aug. Just curious. I will be bowling for a month before we start this thing.
