OK. Here it goes. The 2008-09 season of BR Scratch Doubles is right here.
Please post here if you are interested in joining the scratch doubles. If you have a team, post the players, team name and player order here. If you don't have a partner, I'll match you up with someone. The only league requirements are that you are a BR member and you post on time every week. Rules have slightly changed from last season.
3, 9 week sessions. One Position round the 9th week (last) of each session and it's worth double points.
3 games. 2 points for each team game and 2 points for each team series for a total of 8 team points.
1 point for each individual game and 1 point for each individual series for a total of 8 individual points. 16 total points each week.
No bowling during weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Weeks run from Sunday to Saturday. 1st week starts on Sunday 9-7. Last week starts 3-29.
Vacancy score is 165 and blind is minus 10 off average. If you don't post by Wednesday, you'll get the 165 vacancy score so post that you'll need a blind the week before.
Post your scores by Wednesdays of the following week so I can have the standings posted by the weekend. If you need a blind you'll have to post that in advance. Remember to post your
scratch scores as most of us are in handicap leagues.
If you bowl in more than 1 league, you will have to only post scores from that league every week. If for some reason your league doesn't bowl or you can't bowl in your regular league for a certain week, you can post another league's scores. Just let us know that you're doing that when you post.
If a player does not post for 2 weeks straight, I'll assume that they don't want to participate anymore and they will be replaced. I will keep a wait list for those who don't post.
