Upper Midwest/Great Lakes Shootout?
« on: September 20, 2003, 07:28:01 AM »
I'd love to see a show of hands for a tournament for later on this year.  My organizational skills aren't perfect, but I've got a contact with the owner of two of our city's bowling establishments that already is in charge of a scratch tour for Southeast Wisconsin bowlers.  I could check with some of our more generous corporate sponsors as well as motel/motel accommodations.  My wife is a hostess for one of the city's finer resturants.  Not exactly five star, but very nice, nonetheless.  A dinner following the tourney would be a great idea.

Please, if you have ANY interest in this, or an idea you'd love to share, do not hesitate to contact me either here or at work.

Plug me in.  However, don't have it on Oct 19, Nov 16, or after Dec 23.  I can probably make most other weekends.  Hint Nov 23 thru Dec 14 would be perfect.

Ideally, the week of the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl, or soon thereafter was when I was thinking.  That way, proper and complete planning can take place and it won't conflict with anyone's football viewing pleasures!

I would be interested in going.

I'd definitely be in as long as it's between Dec. 10 and Jan. 10, lousy school keeping me out of the Chicagoland area...

Sounds like something I'd be interested in doing.  My schedule is so crazy, it would be best for me to wait until you have a date and tell you whether I can make it.  If you get it narrowed down to several specific dates, I'd be happy to give feedback.
