I'm happy with it, but if my spare shooting weren't so atrocious, it would have been a low 700.

178,215,242....635   Tried the new Enriched Uranium first game and couldn't get a feel for it. Changed to the Paradiegm for a game, alot of late corners so changed back to the Enriched and moved deep and ball rolled great. Hopefully I'll figure it out practicing this week before next week.

It all coming together now, if it wasnt for 2 back to back opens in the first game during transition, I would have gotten the 700.

I had the pleasure of bowling with an old time regional pro here in the New York Capital regionby the name of Dick Marx (Mr. X). He used to bowl with Morris Cramer and his crew, back in the scratch days and TV Tournament Time.

He's still got the fire and passion, told me to give him all I've got in the last game, head to head he's still got the drive and the ability to repeat shots, even at 12 MPH. Tight game, i was up by 11 all match, he matched me shot for shot, until I carried in the 7th frame and he left a ringing 7 (righty).
Ended up beating him 244-235, definitely felt his history on my shoulder.

It took me that series to beat him at the age of 76, a great bowler and a great man. He gave me a tremendous compliment, after I mentioned that I missed 700 by 2 pins, he said: "With your game, and how solid and balanced at the line you are, you shouldnt be thinking about 700, you should be thinking about 800".

I was in awe, no one has ever given me a compliment like that before. Truly a great man, and still lives through his memories to this day, a great ambassador to the game, it was a real treat to speak with him all morning.

Mr. X strikes again!

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

I have been keeping track of my stats this year.  My 3rd game average is around 15 pins less than my 1st 2 game averages.  I guess I suck at adjusting, because I have pissed away some monster sets this year.  Very frustrating.

The arm is 100% pain free and the fear of airballs and injury are overcome.  While the scores aren't great, the mechanics were better, I was just too stubborn to make the adjustment I knew I should until the 3rd game.

Not my best scores of the year, but probably the best all-around night I've had.  The lanes played very tight for me, and I had to play a line I'm not very comfortable with.  I did it well, and read the transitions as good as I ever have.  As an added bonus, if I stay consistent the rest of the year, I should own my first high average title in a league.  I've got a 6 pin lead right now.

It is unanimous, the Storm Vertigo is the best ball I ever owned.  Hundreds of games without major cleaning or resurfacing and still hits harder than any other ball in the whole league.  You gotta see it to believe it!
