Unfortunately I will need a blind this week. Due to a long prolonged illness, my mother passed away on Saturday at the age of 62. She was one of the people that helped me get into the sport of bowling along with my father, and I will miss her deeply.

Expect me to be back at the lanes with renewed enthusiasm next week.

200-214-262 = 676

Had my first real chance at a 300 (went into the 10th) and blew it bad, along with  another 700 possibility. Let up on it and went thru the nose, left the Big Four. Grrrr. Oh well, lol.

First off Matt, my condolences to you and your family.

207+ 203+ 160= 570

There was NO transition last night, went from good to the trash can. Sahara desert in a matter of 3 frames. This happens when you get 4 out of 8 people bowling on a pair with those SPONGES!!!

As for my bowling the other night...

210 + 169 + 198

First time in a while I had problems from my thumb swelling starting in the 10th frame of the first game. Couldn't get a good feel in any of my equipment until the 4th frame of the 3rd game.

and it was entirely my doing.  For whatever reason I never had any feel last night.  Every ball I put my hand in felt like it belonged to someone else.  I've no idea why.

I'm really sorry, Matt, to hear of your loss. I had to go through that earlier this season, and it's never an easy time, so my prayers go out to you sir.

As for my scores from last night...192-239-211=642

I lost my rear-end in brackets and whatnot, but I won my singles point, and the team won 5.5 outta 6, so I can't complain...right?!?
