What is a ball review tournament anyway

i just saw this forum and was wondering what it was

alright picture this im 6-1 160 tall and lengthy with really long arms, im a righty, my right foot is on the last dot to the left, i hit some where near the middle arrow ( i don't pay much attention) i throw the ball 20-25mph and can get ten track rings on my ball, will anything u have make it back to the pocket

A Ball Review tournament is when you enter in to a certain divison, and basically just post your scores from league. If you dont have a league you go and bowl 3 games, and post the results. Its basically a bracket tournament, online.

ok well in my league we bowl five games its a singles format would i just take the first three or pick and choose

Not sure, but we havnt had a BR tourney in a while so I guess we'd have to go over rules and shiznat wen we did another one.

It's the first three if you bowl more than 3 games, but if you bowl more than one series during the week, you can take the highest one.  Hope that helps.

Shoot, we shoulda had a summer league one.....I could have set it up, then like King, handed all responsibilities to HB, disappeared, showed up at the end and act like I did everything.

In the fall there a several that are run.  All are for bragging rights only.  

Last fall, they had a Scratch Doubles run like a league.  There was a doubles that was weekly with hdcp and scratch winners.  They also had a scratch eliminator tourney.  

Two years ago, there was also a trios league format.  

Then there is the BOTBC - Bottom of the Barrel Challenge, unfortunately I have been evicted from that one  You have to have a book average of 185 or below to participate.

You chose one of your leagues and use those scores each week to report.  Sorry to say, if you bowl multiple leagues you were not supposed to report your highest, but keep the league used consistent.  If you were not bowling in the selected league a week, it was usually allowed to substitute scores from another league.

If anyone decides to run them again, the rules and sign-ups will be coming out soon.

Oh yeah, forgot that the others had different rules...........in the BR fun tourney from king and HB, you could just take your best...........
