Arsenal help
« on: October 16, 2017, 04:45:26 PM »
Been bowling since mid August after like an almost 13 year layoff since throwing a ball and I’m currently trying to put together an arsenal. Currently in my bag is a Hy Road drilled pin up, DareDevil Trick drilled pin down with a balance hole and a Hammer spare. Not sure if I need another ball to round out my bag but if so any recommendations? 2 finger bowler, 15.5 avg speed, and unsure about revs but being a 2 finger bowler I’m sure I generate a lot lol. Any help feedback is appreciated.

Those two balls will handle quite a bit of conditions with surface changes.  Might think about a weaker pearl for the dry especially if see wood lanes or bowl 2nd shift since you might be rev dominant.

You have a lot of conditions covered with those two. As mentioned already, something low end and also maybe a high end pearl.

Low end options that come to mind would be - Tag Cannon, Match-Up Hybrid, Cherry Vibe, Pitch Blue. I want to say the Hustle Ink but it might be a bit too close to the Hy-Road in a 3 ball arsenal.

High end options - No Rules Pearl, Code Black, Trident Quest. The Intense from Storm looks like it might be quite promising as well.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

Thanks for the suggestions! May hold off on the stronger ball for now and see how this 3 ball lineup plays out for me once I decide on the 3rd ball.

Not a bad plan.  Weak pearls are often sold under the entry level lines so you have plenty of choices well under $100.  Stronger pearls, however, tend to have top shelf pricing.  Got my Path Rising for $70 shipped and love it but rarely see conditions to use it which is a good thing.  Scandal Pearl is my strong pearl and I got it like a month after release for like $160+ or something like that undrilled.
