Do you know or does it just feel this way? Did you tape yourself to check?
Only thing to say is just to stay behind the ball and not turn or twist the hand in any way to push it into a hook. The ball will do so by itself, trust it - it was designed to do so!
You can also try to hold your pinky and lower arm bone in one line during swing and release. The index finger should point in a 45° angle away from this line, "outwards". I suppose you tilt your hand inwards, so that your index finger points directly forward and your pinky inside during swing and release. The latter causes additional spin and lowers your axis. Working on this might help, too.
