can some one explain skid/flip?

Think of a hockey-stick shaped ball reaction versus a banana-shaped ball reaction.  The hockey stick type of reaction is commonly referred to as "skid/flip" or "skid/snap" - it indicates a sharper angle at the breakpoint.

think of it as a tire caught on ice that you're spinning then you hit dry pavement!

got it ......now apply that to a ball going down the lane w/ revs thru the oil then it hits the dry!
