Hey Guys and Gals,
Pardon my ignorance on this topic but I've only been bowling a short period of time.
I bought a Columbia White Dot as my first ball. I've polished it a few times in the machine at the house I bowl at but I've never "cleaned" my ball.
I was wondering if you could suggest a good way to clean it. I've heard different things like using a dishwasher, oven etc.
What do you recommend for this particular ball?

The White-dot is a hard polyester ball. It doesn't absorb a lot of oil like most of the higher tech stuff in the market, so it doesn't require a lot of maintenence. If you'll wipe the ball off with a towel after each session, you'll probably be okay for a long time. If it begins to appear dirty, try using something simple like Windex.

Good luck & good bowling

Aaron,
Plastic balls are very low maintenance. What I would do, is keep a bottle of rubbing alcohol (.50 at the local store) and wipe it off after each league or practice session. The alcohol will keep the surface clean. You should only have to repolish it after 30 games or so just to keep the ball looking new.

If anyone out there is worried about the scores being too high, try duckpin!!
