I'd like to add to DB that "control" does not mean that you have a muscled or controlled armswing. Strokers tend to be almost completely unmuscled, letting gravity do the work. At best, some power is added after the ball is gone from the thumb.
Crankers rather tend to muscle their swing, opening up the shoulder, to generate raw power in their release and therefore sacrificing the control and exactness a gravital swing will provide, but creating room in the backend with a powerful, fast ball.
Tweeners fall in between, with a semi-controlled or muscle-propelled downswing, but not with the brute power of a cranker.
