If you want a urethane ball, then, by all means, get you one, but know this: In todays modern game, urethane is greatly limited in its performance abilities by the modern "oils" they use today. The conditioners are slicker than ever, and urethane usually just doesn't do to well against them for league bowlers.
The old Blue Hammer I used on "oily" conditions in 1993, I now use on only conditions thought of as "dry", because it just won't handle much if what is out there now.
Remembering what little I do about the CSI stuff, and seeing the newer "oils" effect on the ball, I wouls say go with a strong urethane. Probably the new Black Hammer, or the Storm Pitch Black.
There is another option out there though, but it can be tricky to come scross, and that us the Visionary brands ball named the Crow. It is a strong urethane, with a stronger than usual core for a urethane ball. It is made by the people who owned Faball (maker if the ORIGINAL Hammer balls) before Ebonite bought out the Hammer name and started making them.
Visionary is a top notch, mostly overlooked company, that turns out lots if great stuff.
