Ordering a Ball
« on: January 26, 2009, 11:49:35 AM »
As I look online to order balls, I see asked often for the Pin and Top Weight.
How important are they when ordering or is that something that can be worked out at my pro shop?  Getting back into bowling and currently holding about a 180 average.

It can be worked out, especially if you don't mind having a balance hole.  But it's easier to use longer pin outs for layouts that put the pin over the fingers and shorter ones for pin under.  A good "average set of specs would be 2 1/2 - 3" pin out and 2 1/2 - 3 oz of top weight.  --  JohnP
