Hand positions
« on: January 10, 2005, 04:54:55 PM »
Don't really know what board to post this to, so here goes.

Not really a beginner, but I'm up here in New England where nobody knows much about tenpin bowling.  I'm looking to make my game better, and I feel it's time to start working with different hand positions.

Of course, I don't know what they are.

Seriously though, I use two different hand positions.  On drier lanes where I'm trying to open it up, I'll usually put my fingers at about 4:30, with my index finger close to the middle finger, and the pinky on the surface of the ball.  On a wetter, or a PBA shot or something, I'll curl my pinky up, spread out my index finger, and curl my wrist around so that the indes finger is at 6:00. (Like PDW on his bobble-head)  What else can be done?  What else should I be considering?

Thanks all.
