How does my arsenal look?
« on: January 14, 2005, 05:41:49 PM »
After several years of being away from the sport of bowling I am getting back into the sport. I have been slowly building an arsenal of different balls which now constists of the following:

Heavy oil - Brunswick Goliath
Medium to heavy oil - Neotac Khameleon
Light to medium oil - Storm Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl
Spare - Target Zone
I also have an old Columbia Tour Boss Pearl that I still like to use.

So what do you guys think? Is there anything you would suggest I add or replace? Thanks!!!

what would be your toasted lane ball? But other that that looks good but need to know the type of drilling you have on each except the spare ball.

I am actually planning to get the Goliath, Khameleon, and Pro Stock drilled this week. I bought the Goliath new. The Khameleon and Pro Stock were both bought used, so I have to get them plugged and redrilled. Any suggestions for the drilling patterns? I have a medium ball speed with medium revs. Do you think the Pro Stock would be too strong on toasted conditions?

for the goliath you should try to swing the cg out so you get the most out of it. the khameleon you should have a stacked leverage or close as possible. for the pro stock pearl you should put the pin above the ring finger and the cg directly below it in your palm if possible.

the pro stock pearl is definetly to much ball for toasted lanes. may want to look into a hit or big hit. something to that nature.

anymore question send me a message here.
p.s. i need to know the top weights and the pin positions if you have them.

the goliath will most likely have a huge weight hole but will react beautifully. the khameleon you may need to polish a little to suit your game and may need a small weight hole. the pro stock will go long and make a controlable turn to the pocket. this is how my original hot rod is drilled.

you may want to look into something similar to a barbed wire from storm or something from there hit line. there website is www.stormbowling.comhttp://
of course other companies make similar equipment but it is mostly personal preference.
