Taking bowling serious can be a double-edge sword. Obv natural talent is what it is, but while the perfectionist drive and work to get better does produce results it can also take away from the fun. This is a battle I've fought personally. I'm incredibly brutally honest with myself which has led me to improve tremendously but that HAS to balance with why I'm there, b/c I love bowling.
If I get too serious it can hinder me. If I get too lax that can hinder me.
Balance is a must!
If you enjoy it and want to get better I commend you. But if you aren't able (for whatever reason) to put the work and time in, I don't think I would. That is just me.
