Increasing revs
« on: February 02, 2010, 10:20:06 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of how to increase your rev rate on the ball?  I am more of a speed player that would like to add some more revs to my shot.

Good timing & hand behind the ball - revs come almost automatically. And revs are not everything in the game. But if you feel speed-dominant and lack proper ball reaction, working on the release (not revs alone) will be helpful. Proper equipment and layouts will help, too.

Besides: no wrist support recommended. Adds revs, yes, but a crappy release remains a crappy release

Consult a coach, if you want to spend money on the issue.

Good luck!
