New Ball
« on: August 10, 2007, 04:50:40 AM »
Well I'm not exactly new to bowling, but I'm not to knowledgable on it either.
Today was the first time I bowled in over a year, and my balls are a bit outdated.

Right now I have and Storm Xfactor, and a Brunswick TimeZone. I Just started a new league and bowled terrible, and although I know its probably not my balls, I still feel I'm in need of some new equipment. The lanes where I live now have much more oil on them then the ones I use to bowl on.

I need a ball that going to snap, with some good backend on oily lanes.

I was looking at a few balls.

1: Black Widow
2: Storm Special Agent
3: Resurgence (might be to much for me to handle, lol)

If anyone has any sugestion please feel free to help me out. If there are any other balls please list them.

Thanks, Tah161

PS: I will post pics of my drillings later

Okay, was thinking the same thing. I have a couple questions now.

Why the NVS over the Black Widow Pearl?

Now if I order the balls online...

Do i need to worry about pin locations and such when ordering online?

What other things do i need to worry about with online ordering? (besides..scams, theft, goods coming damaged)

Thanks

The NVS is much longer in length than the Original Black Widow. The Black Widow Pearl is maybe 2-3 feet longer in length than the Black Widow. Definatly still a good ball, but I think its too close of a reaction to buy that ball. The NVS is the strongest pearl on the market, IMO. Ball definatly has some hook on the backend and definatly carries the world.

1-2 Punch would be the NVS and Black Widow Solid

And if your worried about buying online, just go to bowling.com - they have great prices, free shipping, and always give me the best service. Don't worry about pin placements and such if your new into bowling.

Concerning the pin:

The ball will still hook like it is suppose to no matter where the pin is correct?
